Moderate fun and not as good as other cote brasseries. They win prizes for most underdone (and such small portions of!) broccoli and the worst tasting chips. Triple-coooked chips - with the skin on - rather sadly just taste overpoweringly of fried potato skin rather than potato. A travesty. Thick bunches of parsley with every course which gets rather tired rather quickly. Service good. Desserts excellent.

French Restaurant
Not sure about the starters. The onion soup was very salty, but at least had a lot of onion inside. The cheese souffle didn't taste obvious.
But the mains were nice, in generous portions.
The environment was quiet, clean and nice, despite being located in a main street.

If you want the full french experience, mediocre food, mediocre service then this is the place to come,
After ordering our food and drinks, asked for some water for the table 5 times till some arrived
The moules were ok, but no bread to mop the sauce,
If I needed to take my parents somewhere, or someone invited me, I would have mixed feelings about going again,
Also had to stop on the way home to get more food which I have never done after a restaurant meal before

Good food! For me, this is a special occasion restaurant as their prices are on the high side. That said, I couldn’t fault our visit.

Our favourite place to eat in Cambridge - lovely friendly staff, gorgeous food and buzzy but relaxed atmosphere with sensible prices. Always, and justifiably, busy, so try to book ahead at popular meal times (lunch/dinner). Highly recommend 👌

An impromptu New Years Day brunch at Cotê and very glad we did. I had the Garden Breakfast (which comes with a side of toast too) and if you upgrade to the ‘Breakfast Complet’ you also get a hot drink & juice all for £15.95. It was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly & relaxed and the food came in good time. I also had the Madeleines (would of been rude not to) and they are by far the most delicious Madeleines ever at Cotê! Will definitely be back for more! 🤩
